Partnering with department hiring managers to develop and implement staffing strategies.  Helps managers understand staffing needs based on production forecasts and the use of the variety of staffing options (full time, part time, agency support, etc.).

Coaching hiring managers on best practice talent acquisition processes including interview questions, recruiting processes, networking, use of systems (HRIS and otherwise), affirmative action, employment law, competitive market pricing and compensation practices regarding new hires, on-boarding, etc.

Utilizing social media and job boards, along with other various recruitment methods, to drive candidate interest and establish high volume pipelines for current and future opportunities.  Working to build and promote our employment brand through a variety of methods including company website, social media, print materials, etc.

Partnering with external staffing agencies as needed to identify and recruit candidates.

Proactively seeking market intelligence to gain competitive advantage in attraction, assessment and sourcing methodologies.

Nurturing relationships with prospective candidates to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunities.

Serving as brand ambassador at various events, like career fairs or on-campus recruiting events.  Representing company internally and externally at events with a goal of networking and relationship building with potential candidate communities.

Providing data, analysis, and information for organizational strategic planning.

Researching competitors and stays abreast of the current market trends as they relate to both recruitment and total rewards.

Maintaining and promoting the employee referral program to drive candidate referrals.

Maintaining accurate records in our HRIS recruitment module.

Establishing and growing business relationships with employment agencies, other recruiters in and outside of the manufacturing industry, and GMN managers to ensure GMN utilizes the optimal solution to its recruiting needs.  Understanding the labor market for each area in which we recruit and the most effective means of drawing top talent, including make recommendations and changes (with their span of control) as to what GMN needs to do/be to increase our attractiveness to the labor market.

Tracking, completion, and communication of Affirmative Action Program and EEO goals and reports.  Ensuring appropriate information is tracked, recorded, and easily parsed as needed to complete these reports.

In-depth knowledge of candidate selection methods.

Excellent understanding of full cycle recruitment processes.

Knowledge of employment law and regulations especially as they pertain to hiring.

Required education and/or experience

4-year degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting.

Demonstrated proficiency in working with Accounting forms and software applications.

Minimum 5 years management and leadership experience.

Review monthly results and implement monthly variance reporting as compared to budget. Compares performance with operations plans and standards, and reports and interprets the result of operations to all level of management. Provides other managers and departments with information required by them to carry out assigned responsibilities

Managing related accounting staff and the various US statutory tax requirements, such as income, real and person property, value-added taxes, and sales and use tax. Assuring corporate income tax compliance, accuracy and timely completion of all corporate income tax returns taking full advantage of all favorable tax codes.

Coordinating and directing the preparation of the capital and operating budget, financial forecasts and report variances; making insights and recommendations for the business for key decision makers.   Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports that are appropriate for the users and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

Overseeing and monitoring all banking transactions, including reconciliation of all accounts and ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.

Managing the cash flow and preparing cash flow forecasts in accordance with policy.
