We offer specialty label processes and finishing effects for greater label customization, for labels that look and perform exactly the way you want them to:

Weve compiled some information for you to help you get started on these finishing options. If you need professional assistance in setting this up, dont hesitate to contact us and well help you get started.

Unlike opaque base label materials such as paper, clear labels are transparent because its base is PVC plasticthis really presents some print considerations if you are using this label material for the first time. If you have been printing paper labels or foil labels, some adjustment with your artwork must be done to ensure you get the correct prints with your new custom clear labels.

If you are printing on transparent labels, you are probably looking to achieve a no label look, with the areas without any printing disappearing into the surface where you would apply the clear labels.

Printing as is on a transparent base will result to lighter, less saturated prints.Make use of this versatile label material and add flexibility to your custom clear labels by using white ink to increase its range of applications while enhancing image quality.

To remedy light prints, white ink can be used in two ways :

HIGHLIGHTS/SELECTIVELY USING WHITE INK PRINTING: Place a layer of white ink underneath specific art elements to increase brightness for certain text or images;

FLOOD/WHITE INK PRINTING UNDERNEATH THE WHOLE ARTWORK: Best for images and graphics that are solid pieces (no clear spaces in between), place a white flood underneath the whole area to be printed. This is to simulate the opaque white substrate for more vibrant colors.

To be able to achieve this, talk to your designer and specify that a new artboard needs to be created. This new artboard must indicate all the areas where white ink should be (under)printed, with solid shapes set in 100K (100% Black color). Label this artboard White Ink. If you need help setting this up, CONTACT US and well help you get started.

This is available on standard orders. Please choose this option when selecting your label spec above.

Add more depth, polished detail, and lustrous elegance to your custom clear labels with foil stamping. This special process uses pressure to transfer metallic foil onto the surface of your clear label stock.

Choose to highlight specific parts of your label artwork, or foil the entire label to get an overall metallic sheen for a high end look. Just make sure the lines arent too thin as anything under 1pt cant be foiled cleanly.

NOTE : Foil stamping is different from our gold and silver foil labels.Foil stamping does not utilize metallic-looking inks, rather it uses an extremely thin foil sheet and printing plates to create the metallic imprints.

To be able to achieve this, talk to your designer and specify that a new artboard needs to be created. This new artboard must indicate all the areas where foiling should be done, with solid shapes set in 100K (100% Black color). Label this artboard Foil. If you need help setting this up, CONTACT US and well help you get started.

This is a special label embellishment. Please use ourCUSTOM ORDER FORM.

Inkable Label Co.s custom clear labels are in high demand due to the standard no label look you get once this type of labels are applied on products as prime labels.

Due to its transparency, these can also be used as professional label blurbs on promotional items without interrupting the prime branding too much, blending seamlessly into the background.

AN IMPORTANT THING TO NOTE is that with regular print runs, inks will be lighter and colors are less saturated because this label stock is transparent.

Here are some quick expert tips for your custom clear labels:

USE WHITE INK SELECTIVELY underneath parts of your actual prints to make important text and other design elements on your label pop. White ink supports prints by providing an opaque base so that anything printed over it will have looked like it was printed on solid paper or plastic, instead of transparent material.

FLOOD THE WHOLE AREA UNDERNEATH WITH WHITE INK for solid logos and images to ensure that your printed-right-on-the-bottle look achieves better contrast and brighter, more saturated colors, as it were on an opaque material.

LEAVE OTHER AREAS CLEAN OF WHITE INK to make them appear more washed out, as in using a watermark effect. We dont really suggest this, unless you absolutely know the effect you are going for. Prints without white ink underprinting can lead to unpredictably faint or faded-looking prints. If youd like to pull off a creative concept, we suggest that you test this first by doing a HARD PROOF to see if it was indeed the aesthetic effect that you were going for.

TIP :If you are looking to place these labels on transparent packaging, protect your labels and give them a true seamless no label look by getting your product labels done in mirror image prints, and then affix them on the inside of pastry box windows, or clear plastic packaging. Granted, these wont be as crisp, but your customers will be able to appreciate your clear labels and run their hands on a smooth surface, while your actual clear labels are safe and wont snag on anything outside.IMPORTANT ARTWORK TIPS

Transparent and waterproof, this durable plastic label material blends seamlessly onto your matte finish container, for that no label look, or a frosted look on other surfaces.

* Also available with gloss laminate and holographic gloss laminate.

Gloss Laminate makes your custom labels extremely smooth and allows them to reflect a lot of light, which is why it gives a shiny coat on your labels.

Because it does reflect a lot of light, this coating reproduces vibrant color and delivers sharper detail due to higher contrast wherein are darker and highlights are brighter.

Mate laminate dulls down your custom labels, for a flat , non-shiny label finish.

Colors are duller or flat, with less contrast. Matte coating is forgiving with low-resolution prints and provides for a refined appearance. Your labels develop with printed colors that are soft and muted.

Holographic gloss laminate may look barefaced at certain angels, but once this stunning coating catches light, a transparent rainbox prism appears on the surface of your labels as they are tilted.

Because it is still a type of gloss laminate, it behaves like a gloss coating. It reflects a lot of light and gives vibrant color, plus delivers sharper detail due.

ICE Resin Jewelers Grade Clear Casting Epoxy Resin 8 oz Kit

ICE Resin Jewelers Grade Clear Casting Epoxy Resin 8 oz Kit

ICE Resin Jewelers Grade Clear Casting Epoxy Resin 8 oz Kit

Jewelers Grade crystal clear Ice Resin.

Kit Includes: 4 oz. bottle Part A Resin, 4 oz. bottle Part B Hardener, 8 one ounce mixing cups and 8 stir sticks.

ICE Resin is a clear resin that never fades, yellows or chips.

Its safe to use indoors and is the ideal use for projects you want to preserve.

Use to make pendants and jewelry components.

Ice Resin takes 6 hours to harden and 3 days to cure.

Can be colored with opaque and transparent pigments.

We recommend that you warm the Part A resin by setting in a sink of hot tap water for about 40 minutes. This will make it easier to measure and eliminate bubbles.

All I can say is that Ice resin is so easy to use and leads to such beautiful results that I am now obsessed with the idea of putting resin on EVERYTHING. I keep thinking, Ill bet you could resin THIS!

I bought the resin to complete the wooden tile pendants project featured in the video tut. My two daughters (preteen/teen) and I made at least ten pendants to give away to their teachers at the end of the year. Each one turned out to be its own artistic masterpiece. More importantly, theres something both challenging and relaxing about getting the resin onto the pendant, watching it flow slowly to the edges and dome up. Its kind of hypnotic!

Great experience, great product. Cant wait to use it again. On something. ANYTHING!

Review by Professor / (Posted on 6/3/2013)

I made wonderful resin pendants as gifts. The results were stunning. Ice Resin is self-doming which adds to beauty of this product.

Follow the directions and youll get wonderful results. The best pieces of advice were from Beadaholiques own video where you get tons of tips and tricks.

Utilize patience for the best results.

This was the first casting resin kit that I ever purchased and I have been hooked ever since. What I really like is that this kit comes with everything needed to get started, it has the mixing cups, stir sticks and easy to follow instructions. Once this resin has cured its crystal clear and really hard.

I love looking for new molds and items to cast with this resin.

Review by Figo / (Posted on 3/21/2012)

This resin is outstanding for jewelry because it is completely clear, self-doming and it doesnt get a dimple in the center after curing because it is an epoxy resin. Other products are easier to use but they just dont hold a candle to ICE resin for clarity and durability.

Review by Dj SharkLady / (Posted on 3/20/2012)

I used this resin to fill in some bezels that I had made. You can top off the product and make a dome effect if you want to. (I did) It is clear as glass when dry. You must watch for bubbles after you pour. Follow the directions to a t.

EasyFlo systems consist of two parts (A and B) that, after mixing, quickly cure to tough polyurethane plastics. Since Parts A and B are super-low viscosity liquids, they are easy to mix, provide excellent detail penetration, and make bubble-free castings without vacuum degassing or pressure casting techniques. Rapid demold times make EasyFlo ideal for high-volume, fast-cast applications. EasyFlo Clear cures to a pale amber color and is often used with PolyColors to make transparent, coloured castings. All EasyFlo products can be easily color-cast, painted or machined. Most EasyFlo products can be filled for various coldcast techniques such as cold-cast bronze, marble, etc. Thin-walled castings made from EasyFlo have surprising strength and lack the brittleness typical of other low viscosity, fast polyurethane resins. MOLD PREPARATION: EasyFlo Liquid Plastics reproduce minute detail from molds and patterns, but may stick or foam when poured on improperly prepared surfaces. Perform a trial casting on a surface finish similar to the final mold in order to avoid damaging a valuable mold. Polyethylene and silicone rubber molds (e.g., Polyteks TinSil 70 and PlatSil 71 and 73 Series Silicone Rubbers) do not require a release agent, but a barrier coat may be helpful. Latex, polyurethane rubber (i.e., Poly 74 Series) or metal molds must be dry and require a coat of a suitable release agent (e.g., Pol-Ease 2300 Release Agent). DESCRIPTION: EasyFlo Liquid Plastics are excellent for casting decorative objects, production parts, tools, models, duplicate masters and more. Choose the EasyFlo Liquid Plastic thats best for your application: EasyFlo 60 pours like water, so making bubble free parts is easy and fast (2-min working time, 10-min demold). EasyFlo 95 is useful when longer working time (5 min) is needed to complete a pour. For thin parts, demold time is longer and molds may need to be preheated (100-120F) to reduce surface bubbles and speed demold. EasyFlo 120 is best for rotocasting or slush casting to create hollow parts. This is a tough plastic hollow parts are nearly unbreakable! EasyFlo Clear cures to a pale amber color and is often used with PolyColors to make transparent, colored castings. Also, its excellent in applications using fillers intended for visual appeal (e.g., bronze). EasyFlo 100FR & Spray FR are pourable/sprayable, UL-94 (V-0) fire-retardant plastics. Surfaces and air temperature should be above 60F during application and for the entire curing period. Use metal or plastic mixing vessels and spatulas to avoid introducing moisture (i.e., with paper or wood tools). Measure equal volumes of A and B into a mixing container such as a polyethylene pail. Mix immediately, thoroughly scraping sides and bottom for one minute. Pour mix into mold cavity as quickly as possible. Once the containers of Parts A and B are opened, they should be used or resealed tightly as atmospheric moisture contamination may cause foaming of the plastic. Poly Purge, a dry-gas aerosol, can be sprayed into opened containers of EasyFlo to lengthen shelf life once opened. SPRAYING: Consult the Plas-Pak Spray Systems Technical Bulletin before spraying EasyFlo Spray FR. CURING: Castings should be allowed to remain in the mold until thoroughly cured. Parts demolded too soon may be subject to deformation. Use of pre-warmed molds hastens curing. Low temperatures slow the curing and extend demold time. ADDITIVES: Part 15X is a powerful catalyst that increases the speed of curing. Stir Part 15X into the Part B before adding Part A. A few drops in a one-pound mix speeds the cure significantly. Exotherm (heat of reaction) and thus shrinkage on cooling may be increased. Experiment to determine the right amount of Part 15X to use but never use more than 1% Part 15X of the total weight of the mix or the final physical properties may be affected. Fillers can be added to EasyFlo products to vary appearances and densities. Microballoons can be added to create a wood-like, lower density material. Bronze powder, calcium carbonate, fly ash, sand, granite or other stone-like fillers can be added as desired. Usually, fillers should be added after A and B are mixed. It is imperative that any filler be thoroughly dried before mixing with the resin. FINISHING: Cured EasyFlo products may yellow slightly and chalk when exposed to excessive sunlight and should be painted or sealed for exterior use. Castings can be drilled, sanded and machined. If they are to be painted or coated, adhesion of the coating should be checked carefully over a period of time to determine that it is satisfactory for the intended use. If mold release is thoroughly removed by detergent washing, most oil paints work well. An autobody primer sprayed onto the clean casting and allowed to cure overnight may help paints adhere better. CLEAN UP: Tools should be scraped clean before the plastic is hard. Denatured ethanol is a good cleaning solvent, but it must be handled with extreme caution owing to its flammability and health hazards. General casting, and any situation where faster setting is required; despite its name, a popular general-purpose plaster.

Sculptures and casts requiring durability, reusable moulds and items likely to be handled frequently. Longer drying time in slip moulds but greater detail. Suitable for life-casting if painted, etc.

Dense hard surface; large casts and projections may require the inclusion of mesh or fibre, etc.

Casts or moulds requiring durability but also extreme accuracy; often used in engineering work, musical instruments, etc.

Displayware, giftware, chess pieces, etc., reusable moulds; slower drying in slip moulds and slightly better definition than Herculite No.2, and much-favoured for life-casting work.

Dense hard surface; very popular in exhibits, displayware and undecorated life-casting because of its whiteness.

Moulds or casts requiring extreme durability, or where the finest possible detail is necessary, e.g in ceramics.

Extremely dense surface; Crystacast is one of the finest pottery plasters available; Herculite Stone is very chip-resistant.

A particularly strong plaster. Water/weather-resistant; good impression capability; extremely hard surface and very resistant to breakage, chipping, etc.

Casting work lends itself to improvisation both with materials and methods, and it is very satisfying to see a work-of-art evolve from what-starts- off-as just a powder or a liquid. All the materials mentioned below are in the drop-down menu; use the tabs below this table for more about the methods.

Plaster-of-Paris can mean the powdered material, the finished work or the art-form; casting plaster is just a more specific term for plaster-of-Paris while it is still just a powder, e.g. in the bag, etc. Unlike other types of gypsum, casting plaster is very pourable once mixed with water but sets quite suddenly, usually at somewhere between 10 and 30 minutes, depending on the particular variety.

Making Plaster-of-Paris MouldsAlthough it can be sculpted as a negative, more usually a plaster mould is formed from an original or prototype. This may be part or all of an existing object, or a master modelled for making one or more copies, and might be a pot, a plate, a figurine or even part of a car. Originals made of pliable materials such as plastic, rubber, silicone and plasticine do not normally need arelease agent(e.g. vaseline), but heavily-detailed or shiny surfaces can be difficult to part metal, glass and ceramics all require a release agent, however flexible moulds (see below) are normally used for rigid materials and for copying originals with heavy or undercut detail. Intricate or hollow moulds can be formed in sections which can be held together with rubber bands or tape, etc., and the joint-lines levelled off after separation. The mould box can be any simple plastic container or frame lined with a plastic sheet, etc., with the object being firmly fixed or suspended in the box tupperware containers, washing-up bowls, old cardboard boxes, even plastic footballs cut-in-half are all perfect. If containment is difficult as with a large panel, or other fixture the mould box will have to be devised around or over the original ensuring that the junction with the sides of the box is completely sealed withplasticine, etc.Hessianorwire meshcan be included to add strength to slender or large areas of the mould. If the original is made of a soft substance such asparaffin waxwhich can be scooped or melted out of the mould, whole-object castings can be made (vents can be drilled into the mould to prevent air being trapped).Fine CastingorArtistsplaster is suitable for most work, butHerculite No.2plaster can be used for moulds that will be used repeatedly; for maximum durability, however, useCrystacast. Setting time depends on the plaster used, but is usually under 30 minutes. Semi-flexible casings or moulds can be made withPlaster-of-Paris bandageusing the same material and technique as plaster-casts for bone fractures (see Body Moulding below).

When it comes to making a cast from rigid

flexible moulds,Fine CastingorArtistsplaster is usually quite sufficient if the finished work is unlikely to be handled much.

A typical plaster for more portable objects isHerculite No.2, butCrystacal Rshould be used if true whiteness is important. For maximum hardness useCrystacastor, for the best resistance to breakage, useCassinisorJesmonite. Depending on the casting material, soft soapor other parting agent can be used to seal the mould surfaces. Moulds must be completely dry if used for casting metals because the steam from trapped moisture can cause molten metal to be blown out the mould may need drying in a low oven before use (not a microwave!). Any under-cut detail in the

will prevent separation if the casting is plaster, metal, etc. but this wont matter if the casting is a one-off and the mould can be broken away without damaging the finished article.

A flexible mould is normally used for originals with any relief or undercut detail, etc., and there are several ways this can be done..Alginatecan be used for making life-casts as described lower down but is also widely-used for copying figurines, small ornaments and decorative mouldings especially in restoration work; alginate comes as a powder which is mixed with water and can either be applied as a paste or, using a weaker mix, the original can be immersed in the gel; the mixture sets in about 3 minutes and the mould detaches itself in the process. Alginate moulds are only suited to a very limited number of uses as the material degrades quite rapidly.

Im so loving BA products, especially these clear bottles. Other companies Ive purchased from, their bottles are so hard and non-squeezable. I can only use them with a trigger closure. These bottles are squeezable, pliable, and any closure can be used. Am impressed with the fast shipment, beautiful bottles and prices. Thanks BA. You rock!

I use these bottles to ship my liquid product all over the us and never had a problem with them. I love these bottles, Just wish they sold them in a bigger bulk and cheaper shipping cost as shipping is half the cost of a 189 bottles

I am in development of a hair care product. I was looking for a bottle that would be comparable to what we might use for our finished product. The cosmo bottle Is doing a fine job in that respect. The fact that I can buy it in a variety sizes comes in handy, as it allows me to do stability testing in a small container made the same way as the larger size. I waste less product that way. I am very happy with the product. The quality also seems to be excellent with no imperfections seen in any of several shipments in various sizes I have purchased.

Good quality, lots of options and the best price Ive found.

My clients are very impressed with these bottles, as they are better able to see the contents compared to frosted bottles

I will use these for a childrens craft for a large camp. They have a nice clean look. Strong, I let me kids try to break them when full of water. Bent up some no leaks.

Works great for my homemade products.

Like that I can see how much I need to add and how much I have used.

I always take the time to write reviews of products especially if they deserve 5 stars. These bottles were beautiful, good thick material, crystal clear, and fit the fine mist spray heads that I ordered with them just beautiful. They were everything that was stated online. There was no need to clean the bottles before putting product in them as they were packaged cleanly. The box that they were shipped in was adequately large and the shipping foam pellets sufficient in amount to keep all bottles/fine spray misters in perfect condition as they made their way to my business. Ill suggest them to any business requiring top materials and quick shipping.

The bottoms were fine it was what I wanted and just didnt get to use them will have to return

This is a tough plastic – hollow parts are nearly unbreakable! Work surfaces can be waxed or coated with Pol-Ease 2300 Release Agent so cured rubber can be removed. General casting and moulding; suitable for a wide range of artistic applications and most large objects and impression work; also fibrous plasterwork, decorative mouldings, panels, etc.

Decorative items, occasional moulds, impressions, models, etc. Large items may need a framework. Artists is stronger than Fine Casting plaster.

Statues, figurines, water features, sculptures and all outdoor work. Also marble/stone repair & restoration (cast or applied).

Plaster-of-Paris can mean the powdered material, the finished work – or the art-form; casting plaster is just a more specific term for plaster-of-Paris while it is still just a powder, e.g. in the bag, etc.

Originals made of pliable materials such as plastic, rubber, silicone and plasticine do not normally need arelease agent(e.g. vaseline), but heavily-detailed or shiny surfaces can be difficult to part – metal, glass and ceramics all require a release agent, however flexible moulds (see below) are normally used for rigid materials and for copying originals with heavy or undercut detail. Intricate or hollow moulds can be formed in sections which can be held together with rubber bands or tape, etc., and the joint-lines levelled off after separation. The mould box can be any simple plastic container or frame lined with a plastic sheet, etc., with the object being firmly fixed or suspended in the box – tupperware containers, washing-up bowls, old cardboard boxes, even plastic footballs cut-in-half are all perfect. If containment is difficult – as with a large panel, or other fixture – the mould box will have to be devised around or over the original ensuring that the junction with the sides of the box is completely sealed withplasticine, etc.Hessianorwire meshcan be included to add strength to slender or large areas of the mould.

Moulds must be completely dry if used for casting metals because the steam from trapped moisture can cause molten metal to be blown out – the mould may need drying in a low oven before use (not a microwave!). Any under-cut detail in the

will prevent separation if the casting is plaster, metal, etc. – but this wont matter if the casting is a one-off and the mould can be broken away without damaging the finished article.

A flexible mould is normally used for originals with any relief or undercut detail, etc., and there are several ways this can be done..Alginatecan be used for making life-casts as described lower down but is also widely-used for copying figurines, small ornaments and decorative mouldings – especially in restoration work; alginate comes as a powder which is mixed with water and can either be applied as a paste or, using a weaker mix, the original can be immersed in the gel; the mixture sets in about 3 minutes and the mould detaches itself in the process. Alginate moulds are only suited to a very limited number of uses as the material degrades quite rapidly.

.RTV silicone(cold-cure rubber) moulds can be formed by placing the original in a pot or container with the liquid rubber being poured in the same way as a plaster block-mould; large, flat areas can be reproduced by forming a barrier around the perimeter of the original then pouring in the silicone to form a rubber layer or mat. Moulds can be built up in sections, but successive layers must be separated with an effective barrier to prevent adhesion. (RTV silicone is a two-part material and is very different to the silicone used in mastic sealants). A more efficient, two-stage process is often used for larger moulds: a layer ofclayorplasticineis spread over the original; this is then placed in a suitable mould-box and plaster-of-Paris poured in; once set, the plaster case is lifted off and the clay filling removed; when the plaster case is put back over the original there is a void where the clay was; the silicone to form the mould can now be poured into this cavity through holes formed in the plaster case – then left to cure as normal. The plaster case itself may also be used as a mould support for heavy castings. This technique can be adapted for making moulds of wall fixtures, plaques, etc. – effectively turning the assembly on its side. Silicone combines durability with great accuracy – it is therefore widely-used for small to medium-size ornaments and in engineering work where planes and angles need precise replication, and also for copying inscriptions, etc. As with latex, with the same limitation, athickener(thixo) can be added to the silicone (brushing silicone) so that it can simply be spread on to the original to form a mould..Vinyl rubber(Vinamold, Gelfex, Flexil, hot-melt, etc.) is similar to silicone but the material is first heated in a pan to make it pourable – small projects can easily be managed in the microwave; for best results, the original should be pre-warmed so that the molten rubber can fill all the detail before solidifying; vinyl rubber can only be used on heat-resistant originals and is not as durable as silicone; however, moulds can be melted down and the rubber re-used. Sometimes the shape of the original makes it impracticable to release the mould in one piece – whether using alginate, vinamold or silicone; however, by slicing through the set material (or even carefully tearing it where a sharp blade is not appropriate) – then matching up and strapping the sections together, it is possible to make moulds and produce castings of the most complicated ornaments and figurines, etc; seams or joint lines in the finishing castings can easily be rubbed down later. An alternative is to mould and cast projections, extended limbs, etc., separately – which also makes it easier to introduce reinforcement (dowels or wire) into slender or vulnerable areas.

Mould-boxes are rarely very elaborate – plastic food cartons and cut-down milk bottles are ideal. Release agents are not normally needed for alginate or latex, either when making the mould or when making castings; both silicone and vinyl rubber can also usually be persuaded to de-mould from most of the surface types that they are likely to be used with.Vaseline,WD40and most household polishes, baby oils, etc., can be used to make separation easier, butshellaccan also be used to seal particularly difficult or porous originals beforehand. When in use, larger moulds may need support to avoid distortion from the weight of the material used in the casting; tape or light strapping may be sufficient, or the mould can be nestled into a box of dry plaster or sand or, if the mould is formed with a lip, it can be suspended in a jug of water; a mould for a long or heavy object may need a rigid jacket or casing of plaster-of-Paris,modrocorfibreglass, possibly made in two halves with the meeting edges incorporating a flange so that the sections of the support case can be strapped or even bolted together. Alternatively, expanding foam(contained between the mould and an outer box) can afford adequate support for surprisingly heavy castings.

The choice of plaster for casting from flexible moulds is much the same as for casting from rigid moulds (see above). Casting resinis a popular medium for casting ornaments and various effects and finishes can be achieved by addingpowdersorpigment pastes, etc.Fibreglassis also often used when making shell-only models.Polyurethane resin
