Required education and/or experience

Participating and leading the month end closing process, quarterly review, and annual year-end audit process with external auditors. Prepare, publish and report timely month-end financial statements. This is so important as it gives me an immediate snapshot of what type of label you need. If you are struggling to determine this information, rather phone me on 082 334 3612 or come in and show me what you need labelled. P

lease dont tell me the sticker must fit on a 500ml water bottle or a size 6 shoe box… that doesnt help at all. Rather, measure the area you want the sticker to cover and give me that measurement.

The shape of the label, i.e., round, oval, square, rectangular or custom shaped. If you want a custom shaped label, please let us know, approximately, what that shape is -or better still, send us the die line.

The type of label substrate you want us to print on – i.e., clear or white.

Your label design. If you dont have artwork just let me know whether you need a quote on label design as well and we can discuss what you need done. If you are doing your own label design and are not a professional graphic designer, please find out from me what parameters like bleed, gutter, etc you will need to allow in your label design.

Its that simple. If I need additional information I will ask for it, but the size of the label, the shape and the quantity you need will give me a good idea of what you require – i.e. digital or flexo labels. This is especially important for new label buyers. Experienced label buyers generally know what basic and additional data is needed to get a secure label quote, but new buyers often dont. If you are unsure about what information we need to quote on your labels, just start with the basic information written on the scroll to the right of this page:

Label design costs are a separate but related issue. Its very worthwhile to get a quote on the label printing first. At the very least this tells you that the label specifications you want are within your budget. If you need to adjust the label size to suit your budget, then its possible to do so. Also, if you are using a professional graphic designer to design your labels, they are fully equipped with all the right information to design accordingly. If you design your label before getting a print quote, you could end up with a problem trying to resize or scale your label artwork down proportionately to suit your budget.
